Full Package 1 year
This program includes 3 weeks of driving, a theory class and a city planning course with a highway code booklet, and a basic mechanics and first aid class. Documents: learner's permit, medical form, certificate of completion, and a 1-year permit.
Lapsed Permit Renewal 5 yrs
This is inclusive of a free theory class, a pretest, and an IOV test; thereafter, you get a valid permit of 5 years.
Lapsed Permit - Renewal 3 yrs
This program is inclusive of a free theory class, a pretest, and an *IOV test; thereafter, you get a valid permit of 3 years.
*A certificate of competence for the applicant duly stamped and endorsed at the back by the Inspector of Vehicles (IOV) specifying the group(s) of vehicles the applicant is qualified to drive
Lapsed Permit - Renewal 1 yr
This program is inclusive of a free theory class, a pretest, and an *IOV test; thereafter, you get a valid permit of 1 year.
*A certificate of competence for the applicant duly stamped and endorsed at the back by the Inspector of Vehicles (IOV) specifying the group(s) of vehicles the applicant is qualified to drive
Class Extension from A (Boda) to B (Car)
You will be required to take the *IOV test, and thereafter you will receive the class extension.
*A certificate of competence for the applicant duly stamped and endorsed at the back by the Inspector of Vehicles (IOV) specifying the group(s) of vehicles the applicant is qualified to drive.
**NB: Above class B, you should have a permit valid for 5 years and be age 25 years and above.
Class Extension from B (Car) to A (Boda)
You will be required to take the *IOV test, and thereafter you will receive the class extension.
*A certificate of competence for the applicant duly stamped and endorsed at the back by the Inspector of Vehicles (IOV) specifying the group(s) of vehicles the applicant is qualified to drive.
** NB: Above class B, you should have a permit valid for 5 years and be age 25 years and above.
Class Extension from B (Car) to CE (Trailer)
You will be required to take the *IOV test, and thereafter you will receive the class extension.
*A certificate of competence for the applicant duly stamped and endorsed at the back by the Inspector of Vehicles (IOV) specifying the group(s) of vehicles the applicant is qualified to drive.
** NB: Above class B, you should have a permit valid for 5 years and be age 25 years and above.
Class Extension from B (Car) to D1 (Taxis)
You will be required to take the *IOV test, and thereafter you will receive the class extension.

** NB: Above class B, you should have a permit valid for 5 years and be age 25 years and above.
Permit Recovery if Lost But Valid
Must have a police letter with the permit.
