TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to Prestige Driving School. By enrolling in our training programs, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Admission Requirements

1.1 All clients must provide a valid National Identification Card (National ID) before enrollment.

1.2 Non-nationals are required to present a valid visa, student’s pass, or work permit that is valid for more than six (6) months at the time of registration.

1.3 Refugees must present a valid Refugee Identification Card.

1.4 Clients must complete the official admission form with accurate personal and contact details.

1.5 The name used for registration must exactly match the name on the National ID or relevant identification document. Prestige Driving School shall not be responsible for costs arising from incorrect or inconsistent personal details provided by the client.

1.6 An official receipt shall be issued for all payments made. Clients are responsible for keeping their receipts safely.

2. Fees & Payment Policy

2.1 Payment terms shall be communicated at the time of registration.

2.2 Payments are non-refundable once processed.

2.3 Fees paid are valid for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of payment unless otherwise stated. Services not utilized within this period may be forfeited.

2.4 Prestige Driving School does not authorize instructors or staff to receive cash payments outside official payment channels.

3. Learner’s Driving License (LDL)

3.1 Clients are responsible for complying with national requirements for obtaining a Learner’s Driving License (LDL).

3.2 The LDL must be valid before participating in certain stages of practical training and testing.

3.3 Any renewal costs resulting from expiry of the LDL shall be borne by the client.

4. Training Program

4.1 Practical training sessions are conducted according to the school’s training schedule and guidelines.

4.2 Clients are entitled to both theoretical and practical instruction as outlined in their selected training package.

4.3 Attendance must be recorded for each training session.

4.4 Clients must follow all safety instructions issued by instructors during training.

5. Final Driving Test

5.1 Clients must complete all required training sessions before qualifying for the final driving test.

5.2 Outstanding balances must be cleared prior to scheduling the final driving test.

5.3 The final driving test is conducted by the relevant government authority in accordance with national regulations.

5.4 The transmission type (Manual or Automatic) selected by the client will determine the vehicle category reflected on the final driving license.

5.5 Prestige Driving School does not guarantee a pass in the final driving test, as the outcome is determined solely by the official testing authority.

(Note: The Pre-Test clause has been removed as requested.)

6. Certificates

6.1 Completion certificates are issued only to clients who successfully complete the full training program under Prestige Driving School.

6.2 Certificates are not issued for partial services such as permit processing only, practice-only sessions, class upgrades, or any standalone service that does not constitute full completion of the registered training package.

7. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

•​Provide accurate information during registration

•​Attend scheduled training sessions on time

•​Follow instructor guidance and safety rules

•​Treat staff and other clients with respect

8. Limitation of Liability

Prestige Driving School shall not be liable for:

•​Delays caused by government agencies or regulatory authorities

•​Test outcomes determined by the official testing authority

•​Loss or damage resulting from false information provided by the client

•​Circumstances beyond the school’s reasonable control

9. Force Majeure

Prestige Driving School shall not be held responsible for failure or delay in performance of its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, strikes, public health emergencies, or system failures.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions shall first be resolved amicably through negotiation.

Where amicable resolution fails, disputes shall be handled in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda.

11. Complaints & Feedback

Clients have the right to report any misconduct or unprofessional behaviour.

12. Acknowledgment

By enrolling with Prestige Driving School, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
